In my last note I stated that I would try to answer the question “are all IP phones the same?"

First what is an IP phone? A simple definition is: a phone that can interpret an IP signal and convert it to sound.

Therefore one would think all phones that can interpret an IP signal are the same.



The telephone has been around for over 135 years. So what can be new? Plenty.

Phone systems generally have lots of features, but with the advent of VOIP technology some new features have come along that really help improve productivity.
